WeCare is a membership organization. Our services are provided to our members at no cost, as we are funded through federal and state mental health and substance abuse grants. The only thing we ask of our members is that they give back when they can by offering support to other members or volunteering around the center.
In order to become a member, all you have to do is show up. No appointment necessary. As soon as you walk through the door, a staff member will meet with you to find out what your situation is and what your needs are. We will explain to you the basics of how WeCare works and offer you a few days of visitor status, allowing you to determine if WeCare and our services may be of benefit to you. If you decide to become a member, we gather some basic information and have you sign a few forms, including our membership policy and our rules of conduct. And that's it. Once the forms have been signed, you're a member of WeCare.
