 Robin Hairfield-Cook - Founder and Executive Director, Peer Support Specialist - Robin founded WeCare, Inc. in 2006 after utilizing all of the local resources she could find on her recovery journey.  She felt that the community needed something different.  After researching recovery models, she decided on the peer run model.  She spent two years searching for funding and organizing the corporation before opening the doors for business.  Born and raised in Henry County, she has been sober and clean since December 19, 1999.  She is trained as a peer support specialist, a WRAP (Wellness Recovery Action Plan) facilitator, and a recovery coach.  She is also a CELT (Consumer Empowerment and Leadership Training) facilitator, a member of the VOCAL (Virginia Organization of Consumers Asserting Leadership) board of directors and serves on the membership council of Feeding America Southwest Virginia.  Robin is nearing completion of her B.S. in Human Services with a minor in Psychology. She lives in Henry County with her husband and has a 26 year old son, a 22 year old daughter and a one year old granddaughter. 

Marshall Farley - Assistant Director - Marshall is a Martinsville native, retired from a 27 year career in local law enforcement, including over 2 years with the Henry County Sheriff's Office and almost 25 years with the Martinsville Police Department.  Marshall's duties at WeCare include intake of all new members and working with members in need to connect them with other community resources.  In addition to his duties at WeCare, he also serves as Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) Coordinator for Piedmont Regional CIT.  One of the main goals of the CIT program is to train law enforcement, corrections and behavioral health professionals to more effectively deal with individuals in crisis, steering them away from the criminal justice system and toward treatment.  Marshall has two children: a daughter who attends the University of Virginia's College at Wise and a son who attends Patrick Henry Community College.

Regina Collins - Group Meeting Coordinator and Peer Support Specialist - Regina is a native of the Martinsville/Henry County area who spent 17 years in active addiction.  She has been in recovery fo 30 years, during which time she has spent a great deal of time in the church.  She is trained as a peer support specialist, a WRAP facilitator, a peer support & whole health resiliency trainer, and a Christian Recovery 12-step facilitator.  She has also been trained in lay leadership and has taken part in a ministerial internship program.  In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, hiking, reading and watching reality TV shows.  "WeCare is a place where all my life experiences can be used to benefit others and myself."

Vickie Rierson-Hinnant - Facility/Activities Coordinator and Peer Support Specialist -  Vickie is a native of Stokes County, NC who moved to the Martinsville/Henry County area in 1993.  She has been in recovery since March 25, 2012.  Vickie is trained as a peer support specialist and a whole health resiliency trainer.  She has also completed CELT, Consumer Empowerment and Leadership Training.  Vickie volunteers with God's Pit Crew and serves as a Feeding America advocate.  She is a mother of three and grandmother of six.  Vickie lives in Martinsville with her husband Dewey, a local golf pro.
